Experience: Derp... I've been playing computer and video games my whole life. They havn't allways been the main priority, but they've allways been there.
I have about 3-4 months experience with LoL in particular.
The most recent game I played competetive was L4D, where I was in the clan LoD fighting amongst european top 10 teams in ESL.

Do you have a mic or headset with any type of voice communication (not required but a bonus)?
It astonishes me that this is demanded when playing competetive. But yet again I don't have any experience with competetive LoL.
Ofcourse I've got a microphone and a headset ^^,

What you look for in a clan:
Being able to rise above my current level of skill in this particular game. I mean, c'mon, 50% of the players in unranked matches don't know what theyr doing
